Local Celebrities in the New Yorker

The New Yorker recently published a piece on the “Lions of Los Angeles,” about our good friends P-45 and P-22, as well as several others.  There’s been such a flurry of activity with them recently, and no consensus on what we should “do” about them.  Killing wildlife should not be the answer, but as they grow more accustomed to our urban climate, people don’t know how to react.

The piece also highlighted a huge threat for our magnificent ghost cats- the very real possibility of extinction.

Here at the SAMO Fund, we want to make sure these mountain lions are protected and thriving. If you want to contribute to that, we are always accepting donations that contribute to wildlife protection and research. Find out how here!
