Last week was the final week for this year's summer SAMO Youth program.🙌
This year, SAMO Youth’s crew contributed to restoration, the native plant nursery, trail restoration and cleaning, and park beautification projects. In addition to working in cooperation with the National Park Service, the crew learned from LA Compost, Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology, Save the Redwoods League, CA State Parks, and the LA Natural History Museum.
SAMO Youth teamed up with the SAMO Fund trail crew for the last time this season to brush two areas of the Backbone Trail near Latigo and Kanan with chainsaws and loppers. Congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished! See you next year.
