Pedal right in, it’s National Bike Month!

SAMOFund is a proud sponsor and partner of our very own Mountain Bike Unit (MBU).

The MBU has the unique opportunity to assist the National Park Service, California State Parks, and Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority by providing public assistance and resource protection to the national and state parklands in Southern California.

Members of the MBU patrol team are a dedicated group of men and women who not only cherish the activity of mountain cycling, but also possess a desire to proactively promote awareness and responsible trail use for hikers, cyclists, and equestrians within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and the mountains surrounding the San Fernando, La Crescenta, Simi, and Conejo valleys. They have undergone extensive training to work in conjunction with authorized agencies in providing public assistance and resource protection throughout the national, state, and locally-owned parklands they patrol.
