We are happy to announce that SAMO Fund is hosting a series of Virtual Member Only events for donors who have contributed at least $50 during the past year.

Join Santa Monica Mountains Fund for the Presentation and Q&A Session
“Bobcats of the Santa Monica Mountains”
Thursday, March 11th at 5pm – 6pm
Joanne Gale Moriarty, MS, RVT ~ Ecologist, National Park Service

Prior to 2002, bobcats had a relatively high survival rate, but unfortunately this has been changing over the past 16 years. The speaker, Ms. Moriarty, supervises the Bobcat Research Study Program in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. This program has been continuously studying bobcats in the region since 1996; and is one of the longest such studies ever.

Please encourage children in upper elementary / middle school /high school and beyond to join, as well.
