Other ways to teach students about the Santa Monica Mountains

  • Native Plant Nurseries

    We offer free and low-cost native plant education to all of Southern California through workshops, classes and conferences.

  • Open Outdoors for Everyone

    Through our Open Outdoors for everyone program (formerly Every Kid Outdoors) students can experience their local National Park and learn all about Stwardship

  • Interns and Education

    We recruit and train as many interns, entry-level workers and volunteers as possible. They learn about California native plant botany, horticultural practices, and habitat restoration techniques.

  • Creature Feature: Pumas

    Join Ranger Adali Olivares and his friends in exploring this majestic, elusive creature in this interactive and educational journey
