Deanna & The National Park Foundation in DC

On May 15, Deanna Armbruster, Executive Director at SAMO Fund, joined the National Park Foundation in Washington, DC, as they announced their new $1 billion Collective Campaign to support national parks throughout the country.

Leadership from Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, and Point Reyes National Seashore represented the California contingent, alongside other friends groups, donors and NPF board members from throughout the country. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland welcomed the group to her office. National Park Service Director Chuck Sams was present for the announcement.

Guests also had the special opportunity to tour under the Lincoln Memorial, where a new museum is being built. The museum will feature exhibits on the history and legacy of the Lincoln Memorial, enhancing the visitor experience.
